Cordell took the Hunter Training Course earlier this year and is now able to hunt. He and his dad went out for two days (Nov. 12 & 13). He shot a 4-point buck on the first day but missed a couple of does on day two. He was really excited and even happier when he heard that his brother Jay's first deer was only a d3-point. I have a few more pictures of the actual deer thanks to Scot & Christine Nelson. I hope to upload them soon.

OK I have to admit that is a lot bigger buck then I got. The reason I can tell is Cordell has a bid head and those pictures the horns are on either side of his head by distance. Also I want to know who gutted the deer. It had to be dad because I know when Cordell and I go fishing he won't even take the fish off the hook.
